Company History:

In 1984 Bachofner Electric was originally established by Bob and Bill Bachofner. The company grew quickly and eventually became one of the largest merit shops in the state of Oregon and Washington. Rob Bachofner started working for the family business in 1990 as a shop boy before getting into the Electrical Apprenticeship Program. Once becoming a Journeyman Electrician, Rob started driving a service van and soon became a Forman. After working in the field for 10 plus years, Rob moved into the office to learn the other half of the business; project managing, estimating, and design work. When Bob and Bill sold their business to a corporate company, Rob stayed on and worked for them until they sold to a subsidiary of a national company in 1999. In the spring of 2009 the opportunity arose for Rob to reestablish Bachofner Electric. He is proud to have been a part of the original company that his family had built and is excited to carry on the family tradition.

Who we are today:

At this juncture, we are a commercial electrician company and have been back in business for 5 years. We continue to grow each year since reestablishing the company and are happy to have some of the same cliental as the previous Bachofner Electric. We still believe in our strong merit values and great customer service. Rob has taken on a partner, Troy Conners, who also worked for the original Bachofner Electric. Troy is now 30% owner of this company and has experience in projects such as; Columbia Sportswear World headquarters, Zeba Design in the Pearl district, OHSU and many others. Rob and Troy make a great team and are working hard to become one of the leading electrical contractors in the Northwest.
